Privacy Policy

This policy applies to browsing pages, reading guides, and visiting download links on clash-help.com. Data processing by Clash clients, subscription providers, and external websites is outside this site’s control.

1. Website Services and Data Scope

This static website provides information about Clash clients, setup guides, and troubleshooting. It has no user accounts and does not ask visitors for an email address. You can read the content without submitting your name, phone number, subscription URL, or proxy credentials. The site does not let users upload subscription files, connection logs, or configuration files.

When your browser requests pages, fonts, images, or downloads, the infrastructure serving them receives the network information needed to deliver those resources, such as your IP address, request time, resource path, response status, and browser headers. This information may be recorded in server logs to deliver content, detect unusual requests, and troubleshoot access issues. It does not mean this site has accessed client settings on your device.

2. Site Analytics and Their Purpose

Site analytics help us understand page visits, referral sources, device and browser categories, and actions such as switching download platforms. We use these insights to make guides easier to find, identify broken links, improve the mobile reading experience, and understand common search needs. Analytics are not used to inspect Clash connection traffic or access subscription contents.

Analytics may process page URLs, referring pages, visit times, and interaction events. Do not include subscription tokens, passwords, or other sensitive information in page query strings or URLs that may be visible to third-party analytics services. This site does not sell visitors’ personal information. Server logs and analytics records should be retained only as needed for maintenance and analysis; actual retention depends on the deployment configuration and operational requirements.

3. Cookies and Local Storage

Reading static pages and navigating to sections does not require login cookies. Depending on the deployment configuration, analytics tools may use cookies or similar identifiers to distinguish sessions and avoid duplicate counts. Check your browser’s stored records to see whether data is actually saved and for how long; a site serving static files does not necessarily mean no data is stored.

Page interactions mainly rely on the current page state and URL fragments. The site does not require subscriptions, node details, or connection logs to be saved in your browser’s local storage. Use your browser’s site settings to view, delete, or restrict cookies, local storage, and cached data. You can also use content-blocking tools to limit analytics scripts. Blocking analytics generally does not affect reading the content, but it may result in incomplete statistics. After clearing the cache, fonts and images will need to load again.

Download links may lead to files hosted on this site, official client websites, or app stores. When you follow an external link, the destination may receive your IP address, browser information, and referrer, and handle that data under its own policy. If a download request is relayed through this site’s resource proxy, the file host may still process information needed to deliver it. A link on this site does not mean the entire transfer involves only this site.

Before downloading, check the destination domain, client name, and system architecture, and review the destination service’s privacy policy. Granting system proxy, network extension, or TUN permissions after installation involves the client and your operating system; it is not a permission triggered by browsing this website. Network activity after importing a subscription also depends on the service and configuration you choose. This site cannot make privacy commitments on behalf of those providers.

5. Policy Updates and Questions

If website features, analytics settings, or data practices change, this policy will be updated and the date at the top of the page will be revised. Significant changes to the purposes or scope of data processing will be explained on relevant pages. Because this site does not collect contact email addresses, visitors will not be notified individually by email.

For help with downloads and setup, see the Frequently Asked Questions or the Getting Started Guide. If you’re troubleshooting an access issue, first check your browser’s site permissions, stored data, and extension settings. When describing an issue through any external feedback channel, remove subscription URLs, access tokens, passwords, and logs that could identify you. Include only the error message and steps needed to reproduce the issue.
