Disclaimer
Last updated: October 2026
This disclaimer applies when you visit Clash Help Center, read our guides, or use our download links to obtain software. Read these terms before installing a client or changing your network settings, and consider whether the instructions suit your device and setup. Nothing here excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
1. About This Site and Its Services
Clash Help Center is the official Clash website, providing guides to Clash clients, configuration instructions, troubleshooting help, and download links. The clients, cores, and related tools featured here may be developed and maintained by separate projects. Featuring a project or linking to a download does not mean we develop, operate, or control it.
We provide software information and technical guidance only. We do not provide proxy nodes or subscription services, or guarantee network connectivity. Downloading a client, importing a subscription, and connecting to a network are separate steps; installing a client does not mean you have access to a working connection. The subscription provider’s terms, fees, and availability are subject to its own policies.
2. Software and Configuration Risks
You are responsible for checking compatibility with your operating system, device architecture, and existing network tools, and for the consequences of installing or configuring software after considering the risks. Enabling the system proxy or TUN mode, or changing DNS settings, may alter how app traffic is routed and cause temporary loss of connectivity, local network access issues, or conflicts with other software.
Before making changes, consider backing up your existing configuration and noting your system proxy and DNS settings. If you are working with a work device, server, or managed network, obtain any required authorization first. If something goes wrong, disable newly enabled features and restore the previous settings. Avoid changing multiple options at once when the cause is unclear.
Subscription URLs may contain access credentials. Do not publish them or upload them to untrusted services. Before enabling features such as Allow LAN, check the access scope and firewall settings. Responsibility for issues caused by exposed subscriptions, incorrect configuration, or third-party service failures depends on the circumstances and applicable law.
3. Guide Versions and Content Accuracy
Our guides reflect the versions available when they were written or last updated. Client and core updates may change button labels, settings locations, default values, and supported features. Interfaces can also vary between operating systems. Menu paths and sample configurations are provided to explain the steps and may not apply unchanged to every version.
We make reasonable efforts to maintain our content, but cannot guarantee that every item will always be complete, up to date, or suitable for a particular purpose. Before using a configuration snippet, check its indentation, supported fields, and policy group names; do not overwrite your existing configuration without review. If the interface differs, check the FAQ and follow the steps in our guides.
4. Download Links and External Sites
We may link to app stores, project websites, and other external pages. These pages are managed by their respective operators, and their content, downloads, terms of service, and privacy policies may change independently. Links are provided for convenience and do not guarantee that a third-party service will remain available, secure, or fulfill its obligations.
After following a link, verify the destination and app details, and review the relevant permissions and terms of service. Decide for yourself whether to proceed before making a purchase, signing in, or submitting personal information. If an external link stops working, a download is interrupted, or a third-party service changes, we may not be able to restore the resource or handle related transactions for you.
5. Lawful Use and Scope of This Disclaimer
You must follow applicable local laws, network regulations, and the terms of any services you use. Do not use software for unauthorized access, to infringe others’ rights, or for any other unlawful activity. Our technical guidance is not legal advice and does not replace your responsibility to assess whether your specific use is lawful.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, we do not promise compensation for losses caused by user error, differences in device environments, or third-party services. Nothing in this disclaimer affects any liability we are required by law to accept. To troubleshoot an issue, check the FAQ or our guides, and omit subscription credentials and personal information when describing the problem.
